We'd love you to join us! Please find below information on training sessions, membership fees, subscriptions and so on.
There are lots of things for us to communicate, so we apologise for this lengthy page of info! It is all vital and relevant information, so grab a cuppa and sit down for 10 minutes to make sure you understand everything that is required. If you have any questions, please contact our Club Administrator (membershipwnc@outlook.com) and we will send your enquiry to the correct person.
Initial trial with WNC
You (or your daughter) are entitled to THREE complimentary training sessions before you need to join the club, so long as you haven't been affiliated with England Netball previously in another club. To cover the club for insurance purposes, we require both the Personal Details Form and Medical Form to be completed. Please bring these with you to your first trial session or email to our Club Administrator, or you will not be allowed to train.
After the three complimentary sessions, in order to continue playing and training with the club, you MUST have completed your affiliation to England Netball (EN) and Wallingford Netball Club (WNC). Please ensure this is done before you attend your fourth session, or you may be turned away by your coach. Membership is completed via the England Netball system ‘ENgage’, but I am unable to allocate a package until you have ‘linked’ your profile to our club. The Engage system captures a lot of information which we can use as a club. When you log in, please ensure your details are all up to date – for both you AND your daughter. We require full name, player’s DOB, address, email address for club communications, telephone for contact if required.
To link to WNC, please follow the instructions below:

To start, you will need to affiliate to Wallingford Netball Club by doing the following:
Once affiliated, please let your coach know
This will allow them to update their lists to confirm membership for insurance and training purposes.
Each year, WNC sets the level of membership fees and subscriptions which are payable by our members. You will notice when you access ENgage, that there are only two fees charged to you for this season: EN and Oxford. South have so far waived their fees.
NOTE: Membership fees and Subscriptions are different charges which are used by the club in different ways. Membership fees (annual) are charged via ENgage and pay national and local Netball fees. Subscription fees (monthly or yearly) are charged via Teamo (see below) and are used to pay the costs of running Wallingford Netball Club itself. These fees pay for league entry, court hire, umpiring costs, training, website hosting, insurances, kit and equipment, first aid, coaching and umpiring courses that the club pay for members.
NOTE: If you do not pay, you cannot attend training. This is because the EN insurance that we hold is invalidated for the WHOLE CLUB if there is just one person not paid up. If you have any questions or issues with ENgage system, please email Message James Cleak.
IF YOU ARE INTENDING NOT TO AFFILIATE, please let the club know by emailing membershipwnc@outlook.com . This is especially important for those in the U15 age group, as we can offer the released place to someone on the waiting list.
NOTE: ENgage assigns the package based on DOB – e.g., U14 membership is for those who are 14 or under on 1 September.
Teamo App
This is being used for the first time this year to manage communications about training and matches, and handle subscriptions. It is a requirement that all AFFILIATED players need to register for the app and link to Wallingford Netball Club.
Subs are paid each month and are used to pay the costs of training and league, i.e., court hire; league membership; umpiring costs etc. £10 over 18s; £8 under 18s; £5 under 18 siblings. These will be collected via the new Teamo app.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
